Sanctuary Choir About 30-40 members make up this group. The choir performs at every Sunday morning service and also at special church occasions throughout the year. One special occasion is the annual "Hanging of the Green" performance during the Christmas Season. The choir uses music as a witness tool throughout the community as they perform at elderly facilities, charitable events, and special church occasions. Choir literature consists of mostly traditional church music with gospel and praise music. Rehearsals are on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. in the Music Suite.
Children's Choir Each Wednesday the children start with a meal at 5:30pm then begin rehearsal at 6pm, The Children's Choir is always a fun group for the kids, and an entertaining group for the congregation. Led by Judy Hope, the kids perform a few times each year for the congregation and at the annual "Hanging of the Green" Christmas program.
Orchestra This group of musicians perform each Sunday morning, accompanying the Sanctuary Choir in hymns and songs. The group consists of church members and students from Sam Houston State University with all sections of traditional orchestra represented: brass, woodwind, string, and percussion. The orchestra swells for special occasions such as the Easter morning service and the "Hanging of the Green" Christmas program. Rehearsals are each Sunday at 9 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
