MINISTRIES

Adult Ministry - Something special for every season in life. Descriptions of the Adult Bible studies the church offers.

Women's Ministry - We believe God has created each woman for a special purpose—for something beautiful--something that only she can do.  We are committed to showing her that God loves her and wants to reveal that purpose.  Come and be encouraged through small group Bible study, retreats, fellowships and special events.  Come and enjoy the wonderful fellowship of a caring and encouraging group who will readily accept you and walk along with you.

University Ministry - We would like to help the students at Sam Houston State University grow deeper in his/her relationship with God, with others, and make a difference in the lives of people around them.

Youth Ministry - The Youth Ministry of First Baptist Church, Huntsville, exists to glorify God by moving students into a deeper, more meaningful relationship with Him.

Children & Preschool Ministry - "His Precious Ones" Preschool Ministry - Birth through Kindergarten with a safe, secure environment ...featuring an indoor playground.  "First Kids" Children's Ministry - 1st through 6th grade.  The First Baptist Church family loves and puts great value on children. They are one of God’s many gifts to us and we must grow and nurture them, thus shaping them with positive and godly values.

Music Ministry - The goals of the music ministry at First Baptist Church are to glorify God and to edify His church.

Family Life Center - There is something for everyone at the FLC, from aerobic activities to visiting in the lounge.

Restorative Justice Ministry - We have a unique opportunity to minister to individuals in Huntsville, Texas.  This ministry was created to minister to the employees and inmates of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

Teacher Ministry - Every Tuesday we provide the Huntsville school teachers a snack and show our appreciation of their hard work. This ministry is very important since it includes the individuals with the power and influence over the children in the community.
